Wish I could. I'll have company in town. Def. want to contribute to the college fund of your favorite idiot cousin.

I will tenatively commit to playing. I have tables, chips, etc. While I am at it, I could also host, which means that I just have to bring up the tables from the basement. I live near Hampden & Tower in southeast Aurora. I may be able to rope in some more players, to get 2 tables going.

I have plenty of space for up to 3 tables if needed. I only have two non-poker tables with legs (dining room table & general folding table), so I would need someone to bring the felt. I know Jeff (jc_hammy) might be able to bring two small folding table-top poker tables. But I only have enough chairs for 1 table. I'll see what the relatives have available.

However since most of the games we'll be playing are suited more for 6-8 handed, that means we'd be good for only 24 max. I don't know how everyone else feels about a multi-table cash game option, but I don't think it would be an issue. Anyone elses thoughts?

ps. No collusion or any other form of cheating (or any accusations) will be allowed for the duration of the game... Laughing

I'd definitely be interested in playing if you'll have me. I'm not sure what you guys do as far as vetting new players, but I'd certainly answer any reasonable questions regarding my non-douchiness.

Keith I found a few folding table tops on craigslist for around $20 bucks. I for sure can pick at least one up so that will help. I will bring the chips as well no problem. I have no chairs really.

Thought I'd post a few points for clarity:

1) I'm going to limit this to two tables max (16 players). I really don't want to scramble to find chairs/tables for any more than that.

2) To prevent this from being a free-for-all open invite, if they are not a member of this site, they will not be allowed. I really don't want to be forced to police a friend of a friend. If you have a friend that wants to play, they must first join and introduce themselves.

3) Since we would then all somewhat know each-other, there will be no cheating (or accusations of cheating) in any form. If you feel at any point that cheating has occurred you can leave - no advance warning required.

4) This is going to me my house, so therefore it will be run by my rules. There may be a poker-related judgement call that I may defer to someone more skilled for advice, but it will still boil down to my ruling. If I feel that anyone is disrespecting any other player, arguing on how the game is being run, or if they ultimately ruin the overall goal of having fun for the evening, I will show them the door.

If anyone needs any more clarification, let me know.

I will look into the Craigslist thing concerning a folding tabletop. I've wanted one for a while and this may be a good excuse to finally buy one. If two tables are needed I would need an additional tabletop, but I think I can convince Jeff to bring his. I will definately need chips though.

Yeah, I kinda want to make sure they aren't coming before I post it, but I guess I will post it anyway.

yeah, that Srup guy sucks! Wish I could comit, but I won't with fear of having to recant. I'll most likely be doing family things as this will be labor day weekend. Besides, I don't know if I can survive being run over twice by the wife. I'll be able to get a clearer picture to you all closer to the game date.

<------ currently at Khols getting school clothes for the kids, thank god I have this phone.
