You had to be at the game at my house to understandMondogarage wrote:Scrupboy wrote:Besides, I don't know if I can survive being run over twice by the wife.
And that's why you'll be taking a cab.
Also Keith, I went and picked up a table topper today so that is one table.

I'm sorry for the late notice. I will not be able to make it to your game. Maybe next time.

Just that little event of him accusing a good friend of mine of cheating. I play poker to have fun, have a good time, with that out there, I doubt I could have a good time.

That's a ditto for me. A very dear friend of mine's band is playing a showcase I have to be at on Friday, which means I wouldn't be able to stay long enough to make the trip make sense

It's a shame so many of you are bailing on this. I'm hoping to have a couple of new guys there that I've met through my wife's friends. We may still have 1 full table.

So much for burying the hatchet, Ian?
You can count me out too as I forgot my anniversary.

I just got word that one of my wife's friends would like to bring 2-3 of his poker playing friends along. I am cool with having them over as I have met them before (but not played with them).
So with everyone else bailing, we should still have almost a full table. If others decide to re-join, we could end up with two small tables.

<--- still in.
Also I got your text. Sorry I didn't reply, I was in class and my teacher was pissed when my phone rang.
One thing, these guys know it isn't a NL Hold em game right? I can see it already when they show up and don't know what is going on.

They know. They typically play the more obscure dealer's choice shit (pass the trash, follow the queen, 3-33, baseball, etc.), but they said they wanted to play something different.
