So you feel the need to cheat at free poker?

When you switch tables the dealer gives you a sticky note with your chip count on it so the dealer at the new table can give you chips and they don't have to mix thier racks up. I see basic strategy for changing tables as writing down a number slightly more than the chip average on your own sticky note and handing this to the dealer at your new table. This is only if you are low. If ou are big feel free to add a 0 to your chip total.
2) Stop by Rocky Mountain gaming and buy a sleeve of the exact Yellow 1K or Pink 5K chips they use on thier tour. Why not, they sell them right down the street.

Re: Thursday (tonight) at Piflers in Lakewood.
Bar poker is so ridiculous that I can't consider it a poker anymore. The last time I played any bar poker is when Danny was dealing a game down in Littleton. It's more like a place to try out different styles of play and take bigger risks then normal as it didn't cost anything to play... but every once in a while I get this urge to just go play, have some drinks and talk shit to people at the table. Too bad I can't convince the wife to play anymore as she doesn't like poker and doesn't drink. When I do get the chance to play I'm not going to waste my time with these games instead it's up the hill for me. I was supposed to go to Piflers on Tuesday for one of the dealer's birthday at GG, but I forgot. Oops.

For me, bar poker is purely a way to kill a couple hours pre-bands, such as tonight. I'd love to make it until at least 9 or so, just so that I'm still not filled with dead time, but really, I don't care what happens.

I would agree about bar poker..I play at one place and we generally have a good time and play against each other, so its not indicative of bar poker in general, which nomally sucks..I did poke my head over to DP.com..I see that good ole Mr Masters is taking credit for Paul Wasicka learning poker LOL

Yeah I stopped considering bar poker "real" poker a long long time ago.
When you play poker you are playing to win money, that is how the game is played. The second you take the cash out of the game you aren't really playing poker anymore.

I am going to be at Piflers tomorrow night, mostly to drink heavily as I have Friday off. I will most likely play poker and drink heavily at the same time.
If anyone wants to play you know where I will be.

I'll try to make it. A friend of mine is running a fireworks stand in Applewood and I promised him that I would help out if he needs it. If not, I'll go hang with ya! Won't be able to drink too heavily as I will be driving.
