Programmer position

Hey all!

I've been gone for a long time. Just got so caught up in work that I haven't even had time to stop bye and say hi. Hope everyone is doing well!

I recently became the Director of IT for my company. I currently need to fill my previous role of Custom Programmer for the office. It's a lot of custom work and the person will report directly to myself.

If only! I'm taking a semester off of school for networking and am doing tech support now and getting some on the job training in data center admin. I am happy where I am now but if the right job came up I might take it. Good luck finding a programmer!

I used to hate it myself as I was a C++ and JAVA guy, but once you get used to the new libraries you learn to love it. Sorry to hear about your friend getting laid off. It's a tough market out there. FYI... majority of the job consists of SQL, ODBC, and using tools to extract data from our custom database.
