i hate calling here, but i have seen way worse @ these limits

The way I've seen alof of the players at this level, it wouldn't surprise me that the SB bet his flush draw on the flop. I am seeing more and more players do this to hide the fact they are drawing (especially with a 0.20 bet into a 0.75 pot), and in a way trying to build pot odds to call later. I could almost see them on something like AJ, KJ spades or even pocket tens. Worst case is they are on a middle set (6's, or 8's). I also get the impression that he might have had something like Kings or Queens and was reluctantly betting and saving the all-in until he was sure there would be no ace...

I might have raised him on the turn to see if he really had the flush. I think if you raise and he comes over the top all-in, it would be an easier laydown than just calling the initial $1 bet and waiting for the flop.

As played, I would probably call here but I wouldn't like it.

So how did it end?

No matter the outcome, this is one of those hands that you have to simply chalk up to $0.05/$0.10. At these levels, the money simply does not matter enough to a lot of players to convince them to play solid poker. Seriously, SB is as likely to have 75o as anything here.

all great points. basically i thought i was beat and called anyway. he had A 6, and i don't think he had 1 spade.

quick tangent:

this is the perfect example of why i like to buy in for about 50 blinds. i'm simply not good/disciplined enough to lay stuff like this down. granted it worked out here, but i hated calling off 37 bb, and if i was playing deeper i would have had to call off 56 bb.......not sure i would have done that.
