Anyone planning on seeing 21? This is the movie based on the MIT blackjack teams that took Vegas for millions. I was interested in some background information about some of these players and found that most of them were Asian but the film depicts them as mainly suave Caucasians. Perhaps Asians can't be suave, but I digress. I did find a few links about Mickey Rosa (John Chang), Kevin Spacey's character in the movie, and Andy Bloch's movie review. I had heard that he was a member of the MIT team, but I didn't know if it was true. Pretty interesting reading though.

Andy was definetly a member of the real MIT blackjack team. no doubt about that. I have heard that he either still is or was banned from a lot of casinos in this country and others until his recentl "fame."

Also Emily got sneak peak tickets to the movie last night. We got to the theater and some douchewand is like "yeah, it's full, we purposley overbook these sneak peeks incase people dont show up." How stupid is that. I was supposed to see it last night but no dice. Also I didn't even know this movie was coming out until Em got those tickets but I aussumed as well that it was about the MIT blackjack team.

Saw this on my Stockholm-Chicago flight two weeks ago.

Way too Hollywood-ized. I much preferred the "Breaking Vegas" episode about them. Kate Bozworth is smokin' hot.

Agreed, Kate Bozworth is hot! ...and the movie was way over the top compared to what I was expecting.

Decent movie... Not the best I have seen but I am not telling anyone to not see it.
