After going on mega tilt for being 1-table from money in about four consecutive $10+1 90 player KOs on FullTilt...and getting recockulously knocked out of my blogger tourney by a miracle runner runner chop, followed by a miracle river suckout (by the SAME guy) for all my chips...

I dumped $60 into a $4.5k guarantee rebuy (was about $6k after rebuys). Yup, that was 20% of my then Bodog roll, on a single tournament. (one rebuy and one addon)

LOL

Ship the $604 for 3rd place...but damn, 1 more spot was over $1k....

The only bummer about it is that probably the spot on, by far, worst player at the table won it. (Well, after I busted, he had a 7:1 CL on the other player.) He was calling 4-bet shoves with 22, overbetting all pairs, and caught major suckouts on everyone except me. Actually he sucked out on me to knock me out, but it was pretty much a race hand.

What really lost it for me was, at one point 3-handed, I'd almost matched him in chips, then misplayed a flop by not betting out enough, and had to fold to his shove on the turn with bottom pair. I had best hand, but didn't feel it had showdown value, but still lost 60% of my chips on that hand.

Well, it's weird, because even though my total online BR is up about 50% or so in the last three days, It includes a streak of 17 non-cashes (most in $10+1 KOs), and another of 15. In fact, I've spent a good portion of the time the last couple days on pretty bad emotional tilt for running so bad so close to cash in the KO tourneys.

Damn, if I actually ran well, I might be picking up some serious cash.

Nice hit mondo!! Don't let the losses get to you, I went through a similar stretch a few weeks ago. I had to settle down and get back to a basic TAG style and the cashes slowly started coming back.

I've actually cashed in 4 out of my last 7 45 man SNG's on Stars because I "returned to the basics."

Great cash Mondo...I feel your pain with the KO tourneys. They are very fast and cause the end of poker and all-in or fold play after the first hour when blinds reach 250-500-ante. Usually average stack at that point is 10k and that leaves an M around 10 and it just gets tougher as blinds go unless you can catch a run of cards or get lucky. Either way...nice work on Bodog.

Yeah, I think the only thing that really tilted me on those was that I had five in a row where I was one table away from the money, and went out between 14th and 16th, in almost every case to an opponent's miracle river, when winning any of those gives me a top 5-6 chipstack. Oh well.

Now my only annoyance is not being able to swap Bodog money for money on other sites. Very Happy (sorta kidding, but not)
