This is from the $3.30R which I am still on as of right now... I am still not in the cash but just showing why you never give up.

The initial decline. Also please comment on this fold. THe player on my right "mistymay" had been raising a lot of pots so I had no problem raising her, the other guys bet screams big hand so I bow out. Comments welcome.

This one left me real low with the blinds not so low. Like I said mistymay wont stop going after my blinds. I decide any two decent cards and I am calling. I hit top pair and she had been pushing. The call turned out to be good but she out drew me. This pot left me with 495 chips with the blinds @ 100/200.

Mounting a comeback... Empty Re: Mounting a comeback...

Post  Stallion on Tue Mar 18, 2008 3:28 pm

First hand: I'd be tempted to just jam here. I think that your raise was too small, I probably go at least 1,200 which is a big enough chunk of our stack to consider just jamming. As played I probably call the SB's jam even though it's the 3rd raise here. I'm not a big fan of looking for places to make good lay downs in cheap tournies. Just my opinion.

Nice comeback! Keep it up!

Nice! I love this kind of stuff.

That's right, never give up until it's over. The old "chip n a chair" saying has been beaten to death, but there are times when a few doubles and triples get you right back in the game. Keep it going man!

They're all I'm rolled for online though so I just make the best of it. You can't really "skill" your way through these things, it takes some luck. The play is just so horrendous. It's like playing with 12,000 drunk Ians...........

QFMFT, but on Stars, it's all I'm rolled for, as well. Even the $10 tourneys on Stars/Tilt are 150 full tables, minimum.

But when I jump up and play a $50+5 like I did on Bodog last night, I invariably end up completely and utterly card dead, and unable to catch a cold, much less a hand.

Oh, the 2nd hand, knowing she's raising your BB every orbit, I don't call -- I overshove there. Well, maybe...depends how many orbits she actually did this, you're talking Lvl 3 there. Yeah, I overshove in that spot.
