Way too tired to write, and running out of net access, but....

I ended up playing the $340 Mega Stack at Caesar's....582 runners, went out 39th.

With an M of 4, and us 15 minutes away from the end of the night, having to come back in 12 hours on a microstack, I shoved A6 suited in EP2, and missed my flopped nut flush draw. A bit unfortunate for me, the payouts were really top heavy, so 39th only paid $508 (and even 28-36th paid like $590). 1st prize...$49k.

Only had to suck out once (while just into the $$$), during 14 hours of play, only had AA once (1st hour), and KK once (also first hour).

Wow! Great run Mondo. Hey making the top 7% in any live tourney is truly awesome, especially a deep stack. It's sucks that this thing is so top heavy and you didn't at least double your money for the time you put in, but at least you cashed for the amount of time you put in.

Aces and Kings once? Unbelievable! I can't wait to play this next week. What did you think of the structure?

As for the structure, it was great, really. Tons of early play, even after I dropped 1/3 my stack early. I'm still too jammed up to actually write up a full trip report, but what I will say is that it the time to really be making moves there seemed to be levels 9-11. It was at that point that the blinds/antes really reached a point where if you didn't gain chips in a level, you can go from average stack to 1/2 average in the span of one level, as I did during level 10.
