Stud hi/lo - Gutshot wheel draw
Am I out of line calling to the river with a low draw here? A 3 makes me a wheel which is almost definetly a win here but there are only 2 left in the deck. Thoughts?

Re: Stud hi/lo - Gutshot wheel draw
I think this is one you can let go by 5th, for the reason you cite. Even if a 6 still gives you good chance at best low, you're only drawing to two cards to a possible scoop, and not enough dead players in the pot for proper odds.
Re: Stud hi/lo - Gutshot wheel draw
I would raise 3rd and either lead or check raise 4th. If you played 3rd and 4th more aggressively, the pot would be larger by 5th. 5th and 6th are tricky and you are not getting the correct odds to call vs. a made low. There are better places to get your money in.
It is nice to know that shaan7 bets his 8 low.

Re: Stud hi/lo - Gutshot wheel draw
Fold 3rd when the ace raises its going to be hard to scoop with two 3s and (likely) two aces gone. Although I can't fault you for calling as folding is much less fun (I'd probably call here but I suck) I think you can definitely fold 5th you probably only have 2 outs to scoop and cards cost twice as much, Splashing around a little on 3rd and 4th is OK but i definitely want to have the best hand or a very strong two way draw to continue on the big bet streets.
