HPT Colorado on Altitude right now!

Like the title says. I havn't seen it yet, but I took a part of that prize pool home and played with a few of those guys. Um yeah, for those who havn't seen it or fot those who played, it is on right now.

I saw parts of it last night at The Gilpin Casino. It was actually pretty funny. About 2 hours into the 7:00 PM tournament a new guy gets moved to our table and takes down a couple huge pots. I've been watching him and he was pretty solid and gave nothing away. We get involved in a hand and just at that moment a guy goes, "Is that you on the television right now?" We all look over and it's him, wearing the same glasses, same cardholder (gold dog or something), similar hat. He says, "Oh yeah, this is the hand that I get knocked out on." Then he makes a big raise and I muck my rags. Then some people start goating Jamal, who is a table over, about how he is showing up all over the place even though he wasn't on the final table. Classic! The HPT guy was named John and ended up going out in 4th during the HPT event. We had some good convo after watching him bust on television. He spoke of how he's built up a nice sized bank roll and will be moving to Vegas in the near future. I hope he does well.

BTW, I busted at about 10:30 when my AQ was bested by A10. ...and Jamal is the "Golden Boy" as everything seems to work his way. The guy decides to play a couple days at The Lodge when he hears of their 150k+ bad beat and gets the lions share (70k+) when he flops quad jacks and gets beat by a royal flush. If he had stock options I would invest heavily. WTG Jamal.

lol... I thought that guys gold lion or whatever was gay Still good for him. And damn Jamal!!! WTG!!!! Also it was funny to see him all over the place even though he wasn't @ the final table.
