Re: Please welcome...
Great news!!!! Glad to hear everything has worked out so well and the trust you put in the hands of Children's Hospital has such a positive outcome. Congrats again!

Re: Please welcome...
Also I should mention Evan has already been to his first poker game
As we were leaving childrens my aunt invites me and Em over to show off the baby to the family and also says "oh yeah, your uncle is having a 4 table poker tournament in the basement if you want to play." It was crazy when we showed up and there were 4 full tables, a $30 w/1 RB tourney in full swing in the basement (it was even crazier that at a tourney of this magnitude in Morrison that I knew nobody). I was to late for the tourney but got an insane .25/.50 game going where the standard preflop raise was $5 and the pots were constantly creeping into the hundreds. I was only able to play for about an hour and only made about $80 but man that was the most insane .25/.50 game I have ever seen. I have demanded to have more notification the next time my uncle has his rich friends over for a poker game.
Just thought I'd share! Evan was at a poker game his first day out of the hospital!

Re: Please welcome...
Congratulations! And next time, Evan's flopped set will hold up, I'm sure.
Sounds like smooth sailing from here!

Glad to hear that Evan's at home and all is well!
Yeah, next time your uncle has a game like that... CALL ME! I always double back for a friend.

I've played in a few of these over the years....and you are right some of them can play bigger than $1/$2NL....
I think it would be fun if we could maybe get one of these going sometime....like a $50min/$200 max buy-in $.25/$.50NL ring game...
