Where have you played?

I have played obviously in every cardroom in blackhawk/central city at least 10 times each (some many many many many many more times than that) as well as a few in Vegas and that is it. In Vegas I have played @ the RIO (WSOP), the MGM, Hooters, and the Palace Station and that is it. I still have not ventured to Bellagio which I should some time. I also have always wanted to play in AC and LA. So where have you played? Any notable stories? Cardroom reviews?

I've played in the 2 well known ones in Cripple Creek, though for the life of me I can't recall the names. Guess I'm having a senior moment.

In Vegas I played at Caesars, Venetian, Wynn, Rio, MGM and Tropicana.

In Reno I played ElDorado, Harrahs and Sands.

Up the hill, I've played 2-5 bingo at the Gates, Gilpin, Central Station, and Fortune Valley, and tourneys at the Gilpin at Central Station. I'm done with bingo, however.

In Vega$, I've played at Wynn, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, and Sahara. Managed to take down a Sahara daily tourney once.

Up the Hill: Gilpin, Gates, Lodge, Station, Ameristar (yuck)

Vegas: Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur, MGM, Tropicana, Bally's, Paris, Planet Hollywood, Venetian, Wynn, Imperial Palace, Orleans, Tuscany, Sahara, Stratoshphere, the Plaza, Binions......yeah I go to Vegas a lot....going again in 6 weeks...

Other: couple Indian casino's near my hometown in MI, and also the Hard Rock in Tampa, FL (nice room!)

Locally I've played at Ironworks, Blondies, TJ's Washpark Lounge, Champps, the Tailgate, The Rail, Milo's, Gibby's.... (yes, they are all TPT bar events)

Never been up the hill (for gambling anyways).

Vegas: Excalibur (crap room), Bellagio's (very nice room, but very cramped), and MGM (all-time favorite).

I've played at all the Central City and Blackhawk poker rooms at LEAST 20 times (except Century Casino) each including the old Bullwackers poker room. In Vegas at the Bellagio, Mirage, MGM Grand, Venetian, Tropicana, Luxor, Monte Carlo and the old Stardust.

Funny story from 2001 at the Bellagio. This is the old poker room before they remodeled it and before the poker boom. At this time they had only 8 tables and 2 tables on a small platform within the room. I was winning at 2-4 limit and waiting for a seat to the 15-30 game. Finally get called and placed on a table in the "high stakes" area, one of the two tables on the raised platform. Each table had their own cocktail waitress and anything you want, you got. I was like, "Wow, I'm a high roller now!" Continued to play and was curious as to what the table next to ours was playing and asked someone, "What stakes are they playing over there?" "They're playing four eight.", says the dealer. "Four eight, that's not high stakes?", I say. The dealer looks directly at me like I'm a dumbass and says, "Four thousand, eight thousand." I put my head down and continue playing at what I thought was high stakes at 15-30. lol

Needless to say, this was the big game. I had no idea what the big game was at that time, but I was hoping a chip would fall off there table so I could scoop it up! That is the story of my short lived, I think I'm playing high stakes poker reality check.

that would be extremely high for me....highest I ever played was $6/$12 one time...only cause I didn't want to wait for a $4/$8 seat...that might have been the last time I played limit outside of Colorado actually...

Damn I can't believe I forgot binions! How the hell did I forget taht shithole? Um yeah.. I have also palyed @ binions.
