Memorial Day tourneys
So who is planning on going up the hill for the long weekend?
What day(s), what tourney(s), what casino(s)?
I'd like to maybe head up on Monday if there are any decent tourneys on the schedule. I've never been up the hill, so I have no idea where any of the casinos are (let alone the layout of each). I would prefer to head up with someone who's been there before. I don't have much for a BR, maybe $50 so I'm pretty much limited to tourneys.

can't do it this weekend cause I am getting a room with the wife next Saturday for my 30th....(Vegas fell through so going to get drunk and gamble here instead )
but I'm not sure if you will be able to find a tourney for less than $60...maybe more on Memorial Day

I don't think you'll get much for $50. Maybe a noon or 3:00 PM game on Monday at The Gilpin. Their schedule is posted on their website @ http://www.thegilpincasino.com/. Just click on Poker Room and look up their schedule.dexman1349 wrote:So who is planning on going up the hill for the long weekend?

You can also get the schedule for other poker rooms at www.goldencasinogroup.com or www.coloradocentralstation.com
..besides, you know it will cost you about $20 in gas to get there! I may go Saturday or Sunday, but not Monday as it is my youngest daughters birthday.
Re: Memorial Day tourneys
Doesn't look like there is anything that is really appealing on any of the schedules... I'll probably just continue to donk off money online.

Wow...CCS has really changed their tourneys. $60 twice a day except on Saturday and Sunday. May have to head up there after work sometime in July.
The Gates has a $60 tourney on Monday nights with 10k starting stack. I'm sure the blind structure sucks, though.
