Luckiest Man alive? Empty Luckiest Man alive?

I went to the Gilpin website to check out what tournaments were playing today and I ventured onto the Poker Winners page. Who's on the top of the list? Jamal, showing that he won the WSOP drawing. Let's see... 80k in bad beat, a few tourney wins, 12k WSOP package... yep, luckiest man alive! He's holding cash in the picture, but I hope he plays the ME. How could he lose?

I spoke to him at length this weekend and he's definately planning on playing in the ME. I'm not sure if anyone "deserves" to win, but Jamal has done a ton for that room and plays up there almost everyday in at least 1 if not 2 games. He was also the push behind the 5-5 choice game that runs up there. He's going to head to Vegas soon and play in some others as well as the ME.

With as much time as he spends there, it's good that he won. and yeah, he has done a lot for the Gilpin Poker room. He's kind of their un-named spokesman. I'm glad that he's going to play the ME and I hope he does well. Not to mention, all the shit I give him when we play together. Cool

I agree and hope he does well also. There are so many tourneys going on out there other than the WSOP he's going to play in some of those smaller buy-ins but deep stack like the Venetian and Ceasar tourneys. He'll try to satellite into a few WSOP both NLNE and PLO/8.

Maybe he'll make that final tv table.
