Re: final table of 90 man sng
I don't like the call from the BB preflop. Squeezing and shoving is probably better here, and folding would have been okay. As played, I would have probably shoved the turn.
Re: final table of 90 man sng
I disagree Mondo. There is already 1 person all-in after the betting on the flop. In this scenario, I'm more interested in checking it down and getting a pay raise than just getting some chips. There are some decent pay-raises as people are eliminated on the FT of a pokerstars 90 man tourney. If I know I have the mortal nuts on the river in a 3-way hand (only 1 all-in) I will bet it, but because there is a pair on the board as well as the fact he doesn't have the nut flush, I would check-call on the river and hope my K-high flush takes it down.

Re: final table of 90 man sng
Well, my thinking was that he shouldn't have even been in the hand, given the action in front of him (unless he was willing to try to isolate against a single suspected small PP). Calling that PF puts him out of position with a very marginal hand. If he doesn't hit that flop HARD, then he's likely giving away chips.
He's getting 5.25:1 to call that PF where he's only likely draw is to a 2nd nut flush, mebbe broadway, because it's quite likely at least one of those guys has AK, and I don't wish to call AK with JK out of position, especially when there's already two callers before it gets back to me. And the flop action already proved that no one was going to check it down. Most hands you're calling out of position in that spot have got you crushed.
It's nice to move up payspots, given the PF action, that seems a reasonable proposition without having to risk your own chips with such a marginal hand to make it happen.

yeah i agree it was a loose decidion pf, just to much money in the pot to fold. it can be really fun in these spots, or you can lose your mind to someone sicker than you. in this case i lost to someone sicker than me. CO showed up with Ac9c.....
