Your biggest win?
What was it? Mine was the Hartland Poker Tour cashing in 27th place fro around $2700. I have not played a lot of tournies in the past and have ben primarily a cash player so this would be my biggest score in a tourney to date.
Anyone else? A big tourney cash or just a good night at the tables to talk about?

Re: Your biggest win?
I think my "biggest win" (and I use the term loosely) was a tourney I played in while I was in Vegas. I placed 6th out of 60 in the daily 11am game to win $140. Buy in was $50 or $60, can't really remember. I do know it was the last bit of cash in my pocket, so it meant I could take the wife out to dinner that night.

Live; haven't played many live tourneys that were much bigger than glorified sng's but I've won several of those for $300 - $400 each.
Online: It's been a while, but several top 3 finished in large field low buy in (<$25) tournies for between $700 and $1700.
Mostly I suck at poker so I don't have many glory posts.

Re: Your biggest win?
I've had a couple decent hits.
Took down the Sahara morning tourney for $1000, on a $62 buyin (including rebuy). It was my only time playing the tourney, and came into final 2 tables as overall shortie, and the final table as overall shorty, before I combined a bit of ninja poker and cardrackery.
3-way chopped a $50 or 60 at the Gilpin for about $600.
In November 2005, took 2nd in a $16k tourney at Full Tilt for about $1850. It's the normal 8pm $24+2 that is now $28k guaranteed. Back then, it was $14k guaranteed, and I won my token in a $4 satellite. Got to heads up a wee bit behind, then had a 6:1 chiplead, followed by getting sucked out on badly, followed by a bad call on my part, and it was pretty much over. Not a win, but my biggest cash.
EDIT to add my New Years Day success -- took 3rd out of 600 runners in a $3 HORSE tourney at PokerStars. While the $150 payday is hardly a huge sum of money, I think any time you score 50x your buyin is a nice hit. And, considering that more than doubled my current Stars roll, I'll happily take it.

Re: Your biggest win?
I've had some big swings, mainly because I used to be a regular in the big 5-5 game at the Lodge. The game used to be at Colorado Central Station, until they closed their Poker Room the first time. Then we moved the game to the Lodge. I used to win regularly in this game due to my own unique style of play I adapted to this type of game, but you have to be able to adjust to the huge swings and take a big hit to your bankroll from time to time.
5-5 biggest win:
$2400 in 6 hours at the Lodge (Biggest lost $1700 in 12 hours)
Also had a bad beat table share for $2300 once and $1700 another time.
Mirage Las Vegas 20-40 limit:
$2000 in 4 hours.
MGM 2-5 no limit:
$3000 in 5 hours.
Tourney wins:
$4000 for $100/$100/$100 tourney at Station (long time ago)
Recent wins:
Gilpin Casino 01/01/08
10:00 AM Nitro $60 buyin, Second for $155 (lost the lead on last hand of the game)
12:00 PM Noon $55 buyin, Third for $465
Oh yeah! 2 places in 4 tourneys (.500 for the year). Spent the whole day up there on the 1st. Unfortunately, the Noon tourney went 2 1/2 hours past the 3:00 tourney that I had already bought in for and when I got to the table I only had $2200 in chips (7000 starting). Then I did not rebuy in the 7:00 PM tourney and started short stacked (60/60/60, 3000 chips or 12000 if bought all up front).

Re: Your biggest win?
Nothing too huge for me.....a 4 way chop at the Gilpin once in a $100 tourney for $1090......also cashed in a pretty big tourney at the Orleans...247 players $96 buy in(after rebuy & add-on), got 15th for $350
my most favorite win was winning $287 in a $20-$50 buy in $.25/.50 cash game........weird part was...game started at noon...full table with 2 waiting....I won like $12 in 2 hours....then went to the Broncos game......game was 7 handed when I returned....only the host was there from the beginning.....I showed up half drunk and proceeded to eventually bust 3 people and effectively break up the game which was now over 12 hours deep(not bad for a low stakes home game)
the best part of this story though....I paid one of the guys(a regular in our game at the time) $10 to count and stack my chips for me as I became to lazy and incompitant to do it myself....when you have .25 and .50 chips in play, having over $300 in front of you looks like one of those WSOP stacks before they hit the next color up....

Re: Your biggest win?
Certainly not my biggest cash win, but I finally won a $4/180 over at Stars, after a couple runner up finishes, so I thought it was worth a minor brag. Once had to suck out runner/runner flush when down to 3 players, but other than that, I don't think I was ever behind in a hand I played without proper pot odds.
Anyway, I think anytime you hit 50x your buy-in, it's worth at least a minor brag.
