Nice! Keep going man, I wish you the best of luck, er skill. Made another small place in a $0.50 micro (584 of 4291) good for $0.85 win and $0.35 profit. lol Looks like small fries to your future cash. Wish I could hang out and keep watchin, but it's been over 10 hours now. Good luck and I hope to hear good news in the morning (or later if I get back on).

SO the fucking driver leaves with my pizza and now they are making another one and fucking driving it back. FUCK. I havn't eaten since this god damn tournament started 12 fucking hours ago

Awesome result, but man, what a fucktard call by the euroaggro. The dude wasn't even playing aggressive bigstack poker, he was just a calling station with a lot of chips, is all. Very well done!

Thanks man! And the more I think about it the more I think he played his big stack well for the most part. I mean he was aggressive but sometimes overly aggressive and he did win some lucky pots but he did put pressure on the entire table with his stack for a good 5 hours which totally changed the dynamic for everyone and that is what big stack poker is all about. If you were playing a pot you had to go through him (Val). On the last hand my push was definetly a little aggro. One mistake is all it took and it was over. He hadn't trapped yet so I was not expecting him to have the king. Overall, even though there were some terribly loose calls by him, I still think he played that big stack pretty well.

Well, I guess this is where I say I must have missed a lot while wifey and I were out to dinner -- but what I saw seemed to be less "aggresive big stack poker", and more what that semi-luckbox Vanessa Rousseau called making an "aggressive call". I don't recall seeing him raising or re-raising preflop much at all on that stack. As such, I don't see it as him applying pressure, but rather calling everything and hitting. With his stack, and his willingness to see just about every flop, he should have been raising 2/3 of all hands preflop, to 3.5x BB, to put the pressure on the other players.

At any rate, nothing changes what an awesome finish you had.

PoWda, you the MAN!

That was an awesome marathon. You played well and I'm sure this does wonders to the bankroll! Perhaps you just needed us crazy rail birds to give you an audience and light a fire under your ass to finally go deep and break the down streak. It was a good time and I feel sic from all the poker I played and witness this weekend. Didn't even watch any of the league championship games.

I also thought the guy played the big stack well. The guy that was complaining on the rail after he busted out about him calling him with A8 was kind of wack. Personally I thought that was a good call. When you have a stack like he did it was safe to call any ace for less then 20% of your stack. Did he end up winning? I never went back to see.

Anyway, good run and hope we all do it again sometime.

Yup, he won, and the tourney only went 18 minutes after PoWdA went out, so it seems the battles weren't drawn out in the final three.
