got screwed betting ponies yesterday, so I figured Id deposit again and play. Did I get maximum value out of this hand? or should I have been betting the flop

You're basically trying to keep low draws, right? I guess, without knowing one of your opponents had AA, you should have bet on the flop to make the low draws pay. I doubt one bet is going to make people put you on quad treys. If you do know he has AA then you played the flop perfect. Wink

I think the turn could have been more profitable. Make it look like you made treys full by leading, I would believe that from the BB. You don't have to worry about the others because they folded on the flop. A bet, call on the turn would set you up for the same river action that happened anyway, and you would get two extra bets from him.

I'd probably play it similar depending on the table. You don't want to run everyone off as you want to maximize your profits when you have a hand like this and hope someone catches something to play back at you. If the table is loose enough, I don't see any reason not to bet the flop and make the low draws pay for their draw. I don't believe you get anyone off a low draw in limit anyway unless it's a pretty tight table. Just happened to be that you were both slow playing your made hands. Nice hand!

Thats kind of what I figured, however after seeing what he had I think I could have popped it on the turn him thinking I either have a small boat or a flush and got the dame action on the turn as the river
