This will be my last comment on the situation.
When I went over to his table (while I was still playing at the other table), it was explained to me that Ian mucked and then tried to retrieve his cards after realizing he hit his straight. Nobody said that the other player mis-called their hand (which is obvious angle shooting and would be punishable), not even Ian.
Here is some advice, table your hand and the cards speak. No arguments are necessary. No second rulings. No tantrums.

he was just kidding with me.....there was no real intent to deceive..
I didn't misread my hand...I had jack high....which is why I was so quick to assume it was no good....
